  • ÌýStudents in the Early Stage 1 and Stage 1 have access to class sets of iPads.
  • Students in Stage 2 have access to 1:1 school-managed laptops.
  • Students in Stage 3 are part of the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program for Years 5-12

The ÄÚÉäÊÓÆµ Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program is designed to integrate personal technology into the educational environment, enhancing the learning experience for students in Years 5-12. This policy allows students to bring their own devices to school for academic purposes.

Device Specifications:ÌýTo ensure compatibility and functionality, the following specifications are recommended for student devices:

  • Operating System:ÌýWindows 11 (version 23H2 or later) or macOS (version 14 Sonoma or later)
    • Mac Processor:ÌýIf you are purchasing a Mac, the M4 silicon chip is the recommended model
  • Storage Capacity:ÌýMinimum of 256 GB (Solid State Drive preferred).
  • Memory (RAM):ÌýMinimum of 16 GB.
  • Battery Life:ÌýAt least 6 hours of active use.
  • Screen Size: 12.0+
  • Web Browsers:ÌýLatest versions of Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.

Additional Recommendations:

  • Protective Case:ÌýTo safeguard the device from damage.
  • Extended Warranty / Accidental Damage Protection
